Job Title - Contract Manager (VIS)
Location - South East / National
Salary - £Competitive (plus discretionary bonus and company car)
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager (VIS) to join our Contract Management team. You will be representing FTA’s award winning Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS), which has been helping to keep FTA’s members safe, efficient and compliant for nearly 50 years. As part of this role you will travel nationally to manage a portfolio of Vehicle Inspection Service contracts and provide specialist support to the sales team, generating growth within that area against set individual monthly/annual targets for new business.
Within this Contract Manager role your main responsibilities will include proactively managing a portfolio of VIS contracts ensuring customer satisfaction and levels of work agreed are maintained and/or increased. You will identify business opportunities to generate growth and to meet or exceed individual targets for new business.
The successful Contract Manager candidate will have the ability to achieve results through knowledge and expertise in a steady and organised manner. Challenging situations and the freedom to act should be vested in this position. Persistence, seeing a job through to conclusion and working independently are also important in this role. You should ideally be a self- starter, who is friendly, self-confident, dependable, methodical and have excellent negotiation skills.
A flexible approach is essential as you will be required to travel and work across the UK.
