Job Title - New Product Development Manager
Location - Central London
Salary -£50K plus benefits - dependent on experience
We are now seeking a New Product Development Manager to join our team in Central London to develop ranges of products using detailed product knowledge, market expertise and insight. This will include:
- Development Process critical path
- Support scale up in Factory
- Own Promotions
- Liaise with the factory
- Trend/Insight Analysis
New Product Development Manager - Key Accountabilities
- Planning
- Liaise with Tesco to understand customer requirements
- Conduct strategic reviews of markets to identify opportunities and trends
- Plan and contribute to the NPD plan
- Developing Ranges and Product
- Drive product innovation to deliver increased market share
- Launch new products which meet customers’ needs
- Generate product briefs and ensure the product has a benchmark set and is equal or better than the benchmark
- Deliver range improvements
- Review product areas to improve and reduce costs
- Packaging
- Ensure that products and packaging is consistent
- Involved with the artwork design and sign off process for the producs
New Product Development Manager - Skills & Experience
- Culinary skills/ Formulation chemistry or relevant product experience
- Application of insight data and NPD experience
- Commercial understanding and creation of a customer offer
