Company:

Our client has become one of the UK and Europe’s premier Ford performance, tuning and styling companies. They have expanded and branched out into all aspects of the latest Ford range with their ever expanding mail order department ready to dispatch to any destination worldwide.

General Summary:

Manages and develop new sales of the company’s products and services in the expanding global market place. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning within internet forums, Ebay and Facebook. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve existing parts and new development parts opportunities.


CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborates with MD establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
  • Manages the global sales area and product lines and brands to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
  • Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.

DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with M.D.
  • Forward think to develop new trade and retail customer.
  • Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures including media and mail shots.
  • Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers.
  • Build and educate a new sales team by establishing areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability.
  • Collaborates with Financial Director to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
  • Reviews expenses and recommends economies.
  • Holds regular meeting with sales staff.

REPORTING:

  • Reports directly to M.D. and F.D.
     

QUALIFICATIONS:
A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred;  a passion for performance tuning and a current and active presence within internet forums is an essential and a proven track record within sales with proven track record related experience or training in sales sector; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information. Proven ability to motivate and manage essential.
