Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the role of the Project Manager is to support, manage and administer the delivery of technical installations, whilst managing client expectations and providing progress updates to the key internal and external business owners. Full end to end autonomy for a portfolio of projects will be afforded the successful candidate so it is of paramount importance that significant hands on experience of the complete lifecycle of project management is evident - ideally from employment with the IT / civil engineering sector or similar. This role requires frequent UK-wide travel to client sites so flexibility to stay away overnight as needed is expected.

Project Management:

*Production and management of project documentation
oProject initialisation
oDefinition of project scope
oProject scheduling and resource management
*Management of internal and external resources
*Chairing of internal business update meetings
*Management of the delivery of solution implementations in line with the defined project scope and budget
*Customer and supplier relationship management
*Project control
oChange request management
oIssue management
oRisk management
oBudget management
oProject team resource management
oInternal and external project progress reporting
*Planning of engineering resources
*Production of solution testing scripts
*Management of solution testing
*Production of project handover documentation
*Handover of completed projects to the operations and support teams
*Escalation of issues & delays to line manager
*Management of daily workload
*Attending site / client meetings
*Presentation of product solution demonstrations to internal and external clients
*Provision of solution training

Sales & Tender

*Provision of technical and implementation knowledge to the sales team
*Assisting the sales team with the production of tender responses
*Supporting the sales team with technical and implementation knowledge during client meetings or tender presentations

Client Management

*Developing and managing client relationships
*Obtaining client requirements in relation to existing and future projects
*Providing project delivery reporting
*Management of clients expectations in relation to project delivery

Research and Development

*Provision of technical, implementation and operational knowledge to the R&D team
*Assisting in the design of new solutions
*Assisting with the testing of new solutions
*Identifying potential new solutions

Finance

*Management of the defined project budget throughout the implementation
*Provision of the final project budget accounts

Support

*Provision of technical, implementation and operational knowledge to the support team
