Our client is recognised as an Ofsted Outstanding provider, following inspection in October 2013. Ofsted rated the Overall effectiveness of their provision, along with Outcomes for learners, Quality of teaching, learning and assessment and Effectiveness of leadership and management as Outstanding. In addition, the Quality Assurance Agency, which independently reports on the quality and standards of degree provision, awarded the College more commendations than any other university or Higher Education establishment in the UK to date when it published its report in July 2013.
They are now looking to recruit a Quality Officer to join them.
Monitoring and auditing quality systems across the College, this role will also involve gathering and collating complex data, presenting it in a range of formats to be utilised by management teams across College. There will also be administrative duties to support the quality functions across college. You will also contribute to the support of staff across the college in understanding key quality processes and standard documentation.
You will plan and carry out routine and targeted quality processes, audits & curriculum reviews in FE, HE, WBL, quality assurance meetings and report on findings in line with quality processes and will gather, collate, present and monitor complex quality data and maintain appropriate systems to provide accurate data that is both robust and timely.
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you possess a Degree (or equivalent) coupled with qualification in Administration or a similar field and/or have extensive relevant experience. A Level 2 qualification in IT or significant experience is also essential.
You will have previous experience in a post with administrative responsibility coupled with experience in an audit/compliance role including systems improvement and development. Experience of working in a large and complex organisation is also important and you should also have experience of interrogating, manipulation and analysis of complex information and data to produce reports in a clear and informative manner.
With experience of using MS Office & SharePoint applications, you will be familiar with working in post 16 educational institution and will have had previous employment involving collaboration and liaison with internal and external agencies / partners. Experience of using specialist educational software, for example Pro achieve and EBS is also essential.
