Senior Care Assistant at Torkington House (Acton) - 35 hours per week

Torkington House provides residential care for up to 32 older people. The Home has an excellent reputation with in the local community.

We have a rare opportunity to recruit a Senior Care Assistant. The role includes leading the shift and ensuring that staff provide a high standard levels of person-centred care. You will be responsible for the smooth running the home in the absence of the Manager and Deputy and be responsible for medication administration, supervision, and care planning.

Candidates must be able to provide personal care in a dignified manner and must understand the importance of assisting residents to live full and active lives. Ideally applicants will have experience of working within a Care or Nursing Home and will hold an NVQ 3 in social care or equivalent.
