St. Andrews Healthcare is seeking to recruit a Senior Social Worker within the Stirchley area of Birmingham, this facility offers a comprehensive range of care for service users in four levels of security. Within 8 wards 7 male and1 female, service users with mental health and learning disability conditions are provided with the support and care to progress to discharge.
St Andrew??s Healthcare, Birmingham and provides recovery focussed interventions for Service Users with complex needs in medium, low secure, settings. The Charity is continuing with its plans to further develop of services to better meet the needs of our Service Users. We are committed to furthering rehabilitation and recovery through a multi-disciplinary team approach.
The successful applicant will be a member of the multi-disciplinary team and have good communication and interpersonal skills. There is an expectation that the post holder will seek to develop their skills in the specialist area. Regular supervision is provided and opportunities for development both in social work and other related practice issues are provided and encouraged. St Andrew??s Healthcare Social Workers will be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and there will be opportunities for training to ensure re-registration.
