A Marketing Assistant is required to join an innovative European parking organisation providing customers with a positive experience and superb levels of customer service through its high quality parking facilities.
The successful candidate will join the Sales & Marketing team based in the British Head Office located in Leeds.
As well as a competitive salary, you will receive a benefits package including pension scheme (which includes income protection and death in service), 24/7 city centre parking pass, 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays and an annual bonus (equivalent to one month's salary).
Role Purpose:
To support the Sales & Marketing team through a variety of administrative and co-ordinating activities in order to meet strategic Company targets for retention, growth and profitability.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Manage both online and offline marketing campaigns.
- Update the Company website in line with the Company's content management programme.
- Source quotes from suppliers and liaise with them regarding the fulfilment of marketing campaigns.
- Research options for advertising, obtaining quotes and negotiating rates.
- Assisting in the arranging of artwork for marketing literature and organise mail shots.
- Manage customer databases, updating new information and ensuring all records are kept up-to-date.
- Arrange customer surveys and collate and analyse responses.
- Arrange local promotions, arranging staff and merchandise and effectively communicate activities to local teams.
- Assist with organising client events and new car park launches.
- Complete marketing and lodge sales briefs and circulating to all relevant teams.
- Assist with the production of awards submissions.
- Monitor the success of marketing campaigns by collecting responses and redemption figures and producing appropriate reports.
- Assist with other sales and marketing activities as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Ability to work under pressure and keep to deadlines.
- Ability to organise own workload and maintain high degree of organisation.
- Previous experience of working with MS Word and Excel and databases.
- Good understanding of both online and offline marketing.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Experience of writing Press Releases.
- Experience of using an Email Software is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience of Social Media is advantageous but not essential.
- Flexible attitude to work.
- A team player.
- Innovative with the ability to easily adapt to new projects.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (experience of developing marketing materials would be an advantage).
- Driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
