JUNIOR / GRADUATE DESIGN ENGINEER - £20-25K + pension
This role would suit a recent graduate and is a unique opportunity to start their career with a manufacturer holding a global presence.
Based in County Durham, this innovative and niche manufacturer are seeking an experienced design engineer who will be responsible for designing components using Solidworks 3D CAD.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing components and products for manufacture, including full bespoke machinery, jigs, fixtures and tooling for a diverse range of electromechanical products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for new product design and developing the existing product portfolio.
To succeed in the role you will need demonstrable experience in the following areas :
• 3D CAD design, ideally using Solidworks.
• Ability to produce and follow project / product documentation.
