Junior Electrical Engineer

A UK-based renewable energy company are looking for a motivated graduate electrical engineer to join their Solar PV and Wind Turbine electrical design team.

Your primary role will be to provide electrical design support for the pre-construction, construction and operation phases of Solar PV and Wind Turbine generation sites.

Duties include:

- Specifying project electrical design requirements
- Determining electrical installation timescales
- Completing detailed electrical design and installation plans
- Liaison with and managing electrical personnel
- Electrical procurement
- Managing connection applications to DNO's
- Project Management

They will provide adequate on the job training supplemented with additional external training where required. This is a demanding and integral role within a rapidly growing business offering excellent opportunities for personal development.

Essential Requirements:

- Degree or Masters in Electrical Engineering
- Methodical, accurate and process focused approached
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Driving License

Desirable Requirements:

- Autocad literate
- Knowledge of Solar PV, Wind Turbines and relevant design software
- Understanding of design, specification, procurement and installation of systems up to 2MVA
