QUALIFICATIONS
• A RICS or CIOB accredited construction degree.
• Commitment to progressing Professional Institute Membership e.g. RICS, CIOB.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of three years relevant experience or transferrable skills from a relevant background.
• Preparation of specifications and schedules of work.
THE ROLE
As a Project Manager you will support one of the Senior Project Managers with an increasing workload in South Wales. Your responsibilities will include:
• Undertaking property surveys (measured and attribute / condition surveys).
• Preparing specification and schedules of work.
• Conducting site inspections to monitor works being undertaken by Contractors.
• Attending site meetings and carrying out contract administration and CDM Co-ordinator duties.
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following attributes:
• Good IT proficiency especially MS Word and Excel.
• An organised and methodical approach to your work.
• Articulate communications in both written & verbal forms.
• A confident and enthusiastic manner.
• That you are a ‘self starter’ and can be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy.
• Flexibility to new/different methods of working.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Ideally you will be living with quick access to the M4 motorway and will have your own car and a willingness to travel.
