Arawak Walton is now the largest independent black and minority ethnic (BME) Housing Association in the North West. We work mainly in the inner cities of Manchester, Trafford and Stockport. We are currently seeking a: BUSINESS SUPPORT ASSISTANT (PART TIME – 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) Salary scale: £16,441 - £20,589 (pro-rata) *Temporary until 31st March 2015 but with a view to becoming permanent* We are looking for an ambitious individual to assist the Business Support Team with administrative duties in relation to office management, human resources, health and safety and equality and diversity. In particular, the successful candidate will have excellent IT skills and will be responsible for liaising with our external Web Developer to ensure that the association’s website is kept relevant and up to date. In addition, the post holder will have experience of using social media and will be responsible for updating our Facebook and Twitter pages, under the direction of the Business Support Manager.
