Salary £25,056.00 - £35,433.00 per annum dependant on experience + pension + quarterly performance related bonus + 25 days holiday

Temporary – 12 month contract

SKILLS REQUIRED
• A degree in Science or Engineering or have extensive operational experience of waste water sites, particularly we are looking for an individual to have knowledge of Flow and Permit Requirements.
• Some understanding of asset management principles and processes with regards compliance criteria within the regulatory framework and how that impacts on business performance targets within the AMP period.
• Technical expertise in waste water treatment processes and legislation.

THE ROLE
As Waste Water Compliance Analyst you will focus on improving Yorkshire Water's operational performance through understanding which capital investment to pursue with consideration given to business risk, cost and regulatory requirements. The key areas of focus are Waste Water Serviceability, permit compliance, flow requirements and Production pollution. Your other responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring that key business processes are in place to ensure legal and regulatory compliance whilst driving improved performance within the Waste Water Production area of the business.
• Setting and driving targets in the business through performance analysis monitoring and communication of the areas of focus within the business.
• Providing technical knowledge to operational teams and providing training on technical aspects and key business process across all business units as required.

ABOUT YOU
You will be a key contact with the Environment Agency on your waste water specialist areas therefore strong communication and relationship building skills are essential. You will need to influence others within the business and drive change as you will be developing and driving compliance plans to improve business performance. As you will be analysing performance data and reports you will need strong analytical skills to enable you to identify trends, risks and areas of improvement for operational teams and asset teams to focus and drive key areas of performance.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
You will be required to travel to sites across the Yorkshire region therefore a full driving licence is required for the role.
