Shift Maintenance Engineer/ Technician support /
Worcester (Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Stourport, Evesham, Tewksbury, Malvern)
Working 12 shift pattern
The Company
Our Client is a leading UK manufacturer of flexographic printed films and bags for the packaging of retail food products. With an extensive blue chip customer base, we are currently looking to recruit Technician support within our Engineering Department to support the manufacturing process and support the training program.
The Role
As a Technician support you will reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that machine breakdowns and preventative maintenance are completed in a timely manner which you will be on a call out . You will ensure that procedures are followed and that documentation is completed as necessary. As Technician support you will support the training programs. You will work closely with Departmental Managers and shift personnel to ensure that production requirements are met, whilst maintaining the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times.
The Person
You will be qualified to electrical 3 level or equivalent and have knowledge and experience of working within a manufacturing environment. Openings are available to those who have not yet had the opportunity to complete a qualification but experienced commercial electrical machinery, a strong technical aptitude is desired should this be the case. You will have the ability to work using your own initiative and be able to communicate at all levels. You will be self-motivated and thrive on working in a challenging environment.
The Package
The position offers a salary depending on knowledge and experience. There is also a Company pension scheme, profit share scheme and share save scheme in operation.
The Company will also ensure that you receive continuous training and development within the role.
