Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Mansfield, County of Nottinghamshire
Salary: £6.31 - £7.35 per Hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client in Mansfield as a Support Worker. The role of support worker would be to care and support for an individual in their own property within the community. In this rewarding environment you will support individuals to lead an independent lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring that support plans reflect the standards.
• Assist in development and promotion activities for service users.
• Ensure the individual standards of care and support are maintained at all times.
• Assist in development and promotion activities for service users.
• Ensure the individual is supported to maintain their home.
Essential Candidate Specifications:
• Experience of working in a care or support role. (Please note people with voluntary or personal experience will be considered)
• A passion for providing a high level of care and support to adults with learning disabilities.
Desirable Candidate Specifications:
• NVQ Level 2 / 3 / 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities.
• Experience of working with individuals that display challenging behaviour.
There are full time and bank positions available in Mansfield.
