Geography Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a Geography Teacher in Nottingham. This long term cover will commence in January 2015.

The School, the Child

The majority of students are White British, with a quarter of the students coming from a variety of Black and minority ethnic backgrounds. The numbers who speak English as an additional language are in line with the national average. The school was judged to be good in all areas by Ofsted in 2013. It is a high performing school with two specialisms. The Geography department is strong and innovative.

The Job

We are looking for a Qualified Geography Teacher who can:-
- ensure consistency in teaching and student progression during the teachers absence
- Teach lessons in accordance to the school policy
- Develop relationships with pupils and staff
- Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies
