Job Introduction
This is a great opportunity to join our vibrant successful team at Media Scotland.
This role is to generate and develop both new and existing digital business opportunities working with all levels from decision makers within SMEs through to Marketing Directors and Managing Directors of major brands and blue chip companies. The role is focussed on new and developing digital business revenue delivery, both individually and via the local sales teams.
You will work as one of the senior sales team to drive to the overall digital performance, leading and sharing knowledge to create new opportunities, ensuring Media Scotland remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients.
Main Responsibilities
To source and identify new digital commercial opportunities.
To leverage the existing business relationships the local sales teams hold (in conjunction with them) to generate and negotiate new income on our digital platforms via multimedia solutions proposals. For example proposing new products etc.
Identifying where gaps in knowledge exist on digital for your region and working with the relevant management team to create a solution to close these gaps
Ensuring you are achieving the KPI’s and targets agreed.
Developing proposals and presenting the Media Scotland digital & multimedia portfolio to existing and potential clients through direct communication over the telephone.
Lead generation and appointment setting with new customers where relevant or specific product focused.
Actively and successfully manage the sales process
Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities for Media Scotland are captured and explored.
Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring you are using Salesforce CRM software to manage yourself.
A thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their Return on Investment objectives across all media.
Keeping abreast of the digital market place and collecting competitor intelligence
