Salary: £18-25,000k DOE


Our client is a market leader in the electronic distribution of Financial Services products and works with many leading insurance companies. They have a network of over 1400 brokers through which it conducts its business by electronic data interchange (EDI).

The E Systems Dept. is responsible for software developments and is looking to strengthen its team with a Business Analyst.

The individual who undertakes this role must be highly organised and have excellent communication skills. Additionally, the individual must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure, often working to very tight deadlines.

The role is open to considering part-time working patterns (our full-time pattern is 35 hours) and we would encourage applications from recent graduates with a relevant degree.


Duties and Responsibilities:

*Communication - leading workshops with key stakeholders and IT to gather requirements
*Documentation - producing and maintaining formal project documentation
*Presentations - present findings to key stakeholders
*Business Processes & System Diagrams - creating and maintaining documentation
*Organisation - ability to successfully prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
*Participation - actively assist the team to achieve the best possible results


Knowledge and Qualifications

*Minimum 2 years' business analysis and project management experience
*Good working knowledge of the software development life cycle
*Excellent business writing and presentation skills
*Insurance industry experience advantageous
