Lifeline Project is a national charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, families and communities affected by drugs and alcohol.  We build real and sustained change through responsive local services.

Working in partnership with Health and Justice, the Prison Service and as part of the North East Prisons Drug and Alcohol Recovery Team, Lifeline ensures that all offenders requiring support have access to tailored and effective interventions, building recovery capital and supporting successful treatment completion.  

Due to internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen to recruit talented, enthusiastic, determined and resourceful individual to work in this challenging field.  To be successful you will have:

  • Experience of case management and delivery of structured interventions
  • Clear, professional and personal boundaries to work within this unique and challenging environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the needs of substance users.
  • A genuine interest and commitment to supporting positive change.
  • Enthusiasm to work with young offenders
