Science Teacher - South Essex Area ? Full Time - Long Term/Permanent Role

The Job:
Our client School, based in the South Area of Essex, is looking for a qualified Science teacher to join the school in September 2014. The successful candidate will be qualified and experienced in teaching across the Key Stages including KS5.
The role is on a Long Term basis in the first instance, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right applicant.
The School:
The School is a larger than average secondary school with a sixth form. It became an academy at the beginning of last year, and since then has seen an improvement in the quality of teaching thanks to teacher targets being closely linked to students' progress, and through the training and support network the school offers.
The most recent Ofsted inspection at the school was graded as 'Requires Improvement' and the Senior Leadership Team are working hard to improve this. The successful applicant for this position will have a desire to increase attainment and a proven track record in raising standards.

The School has a wide catchment area, encompassing pupils from a variety of backgrounds, with varying levels of academic ability. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of differentiation within the classroom, and also an emphasis on behaviour management and inclusive learning.
