The Homeware Buyer Role:

We’re looking for an Homewares Buyer to join our team. This role would suit a candidate with account management experience wanting to work in a fast paced retail environment. An interest in eCommerce is a must, as is a keen eye for creative commerciality. The candidate would be responsible for sourcing clearance items, negotiating terms with suppliers, drafting and uploading content, so experience in CMS use would also be an advantage.

The Homeware Buyer’s Responsibilities:

> Develop our bank of commercial partners , increasing their volume as well as improving their quality and commerciality.

> Be the point of contact for key partners within the Home and Garden category building positive and loyal relationships.

> Ensure partner compliance with strategic objectives (delivery, product development, profitability, order management, customer service)

> Secure partner involvement and engagement with marketing campaigns

> Report on and analyse partner KPIs to identify opportunities and build the business to meet demand.

About You:

An interest or experience in interiors would be an advantage but not essential. The role would suit a target-driven individual with a strong work ethic and looking for a fresh challenge. Strong communication skills and the ability to work across different departments are also a must.

> Experience in account handling and ideally ecommerce

> Ability to build strong internal and external relationships

> Strong sales and negotiation skills

> Able to prioritise tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines

> Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

> Excellent communication and numerical skills

You may have worked in the following capacities: Ecommerce Buying Manager, Product Sourcing Manager, Retail Partnerships Manager, Website Retail Product Manager
