Chef

Our client is seeking a permanent part-time Chef to work in their holiday park in Penzance, Cornwall. An excellent basic salary of £11,000 is on offer to the successful applicant.

Our client is a Family Company and is one of the largest owners of holiday and residential parks in the UK.

They require a Chef to join the Food and Beverage team at their Holiday Park in Penzance, Cornwall.

As Chef your responsibilities will include:

- Ensure that the standards of cooking, presentation and service are implemented to Company standard

- Ensure that catering procedures are implemented

- Create proposals to Head Chef regarding menu planning

- Monitor and maintain appropriate opening and closing procedures, including cleaning rotas.

- Maintain hygiene standards to meet Company Food Safety/cook chill requirements, including administration of, i.e. food diary

- Liaise with the Head chef on stock holding

- To have strict control and security of stocks, implement Company stock take as and when required, ensure locks are secure, with strict key control

- Ensure all wastage is kept to a minimum and recorded 

- Plan ahead and organise resources ensuring consistent delivery of Park objectives.

The successful Chef will work from our client’s holiday park in Penzance, Cornwall and will be expected to work 30 hours per week over 5 days including some weekends and Bank Holidays.

In return for your commitment, the successful Chef will receive an excellent salary of £11,000 per annum and will be eligible for our client’s bonus scheme.
