Telecom Billing Operations Manager
Job Type :Contract
Daily Rate: £300 - £325/Day
Location :Newbury
Tenure: Potentially long term contract
Job Description:
* Atleast 5 years of experience in managing billing operations at tier-1 carrier
* Deep understanding of end to end billing flow
* Must have hand-on experience in setting up and running billing operations
* Must understand various processes involved in billing operations (like bill runs, configurations, suspense handling, billing enquirers)
* Must ensure that various billing processes are appropriately setup and run
* Must understand various OLSs and SLAs related to billing operations
* Must be able to drive engagements with cross functional teams (Finance, RA, customer management)
* Must have proven track record in running operations within budget and quality constraints
* Knowledge of eTOM and ITIL desirable
* Strong and directive management of suppliers and external customer organisations
* Manage and deliver key milestones on time, within budget and to agreed quality criteria from conception through to market launch and/or transition into operations
* Lead communication with stakeholders and work to drive strong, open and sustained communication channels both within the project team and with the wider stakeholder community
* Work with stakeholders to run billing operations and proactively solve conflict situations through problem-solving, negotiation, open communication and direct influencing
* Set-up and manage governance, scope, risk and issues, compliance, resource planning and reporting
* Liaise with wider portfolio management community, product/service owners, users, vendors/suppliers infrastructure/security teams to secure alignment on interdependencies
* Provide mentoring, guidance and direction to the Project team(s) located at customer site(s)
