ICT Operations Support Manager We are seeking to appoint a talented individual with a strong background in ICT and Infrastructure management. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a team of four and manage all of the systems operational activities in a 24/7 environment whilst working to tight deadlines and delivering the highest standards of service. You will be required to demonstrate proven success in managing ICT specialists and have a tangible track record in all aspects of team management. You will contribute to effective ICT support for Linc employees across a number of sites providing specific expertise and support for ICT equipment and specialist software. You will be responsible for leading a number of specific projects to ensure that Linc delivers its ICT strategy. This is a hands-on role that requires an enthusiastic and innovative individual with outstanding IT skills. You must be able to think on your feet, work independently but also as part of a team. You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure is essential for this post. This role requires candidates to have; • Extensive experience of maintaining and developing ICT infrastructures including but not exclusively, Red Hat LINUX, Windows Server (all versions), Windows 7, MS Office 2010 onwards, Exchange 2010 and 2013, WatchGuard Firewalls, Cisco routers and switches, Cisco Call Manager Version 8 +, IPFX, IP telephony, Dell and HP server hardware, Dell Equalogic SAN, Veeam backup and Recovery, Disaster Recovery, SQL 2008 R2 Databases and web technologies such as Microsoft SharePoint and CRM 2011. • Management of call logging and resolution process including 1st and 2nd line support through the ICT Helpdesk, ensuring SLAs are met • Extensive knowledge of ICT infrastructure • High level understanding of corporate information systems and experience of programming or manipulating or analysing information • Ability to monitor and support resolution of daily house-keeping procedures, identifying and resolving issues • Experience in managing the delivery of IT projects • Understanding of the delivery of new technology (infrastructure and business systems) • Ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders including 3rd party suppliers Highly desirable skills would contain: • ITIL process, data centre management and ISO27001 • Experience of working with Omni Ledger or any other housing management software • Experience of working in the Housing Sector.
