ICT Support Analyst
Our client is a well-established company based in Bournemouth and they are currently looking to add to their support team.
Job Role
To provide an effective ICT service to all customers and ensure they are treated in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and resolve day to day ICT queries
Maintain fault reporting logs at each site
Maintain the efficient running of ICT communications networks
Loading system service pack upgrades & updates from current suppliers
Installing and setting software and hardware for new employees
Trouble shooting system breakdowns and liaising with supplier as appropriate
Repairing and/or replacing broken hardware or arranging repair by an external provider if appropriate
Maintenance of inventory and replacement logs
Backup and recovery of systems
Develop ICT to meet the future needs of the business
Provide IT ‘helpdesk’ desk support to users
Familiarise new employees with ICT systems
Identify staff training needs and make recommendations to employee’s line manager
Provide training to staff, as required
Provide ‘help’ and support to staff, as required
Qualifications & Experience Required
GCSE English and Maths level C
4 years experience in IT user support environment
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or equivalent qualification or experience
Email systems and Microsoft products at an advanced user level and at technical operating level relevant to current versions of operating system
Dealing with people at all levels
This is a 3 month temporary role
Salary £15 to £18 per hour depending on experience
