It's a non-stop challenge. That's why we're adding a Senior Design Engineer to our team. With responsibility for our Voicemail function, you'll develop new features that make it possible for people to connect and communicate through our network even more effectively.

As part of the Messaging Design Team, you'll work to make Three's voicemail messaging service the best it can be. That means creating new, exciting functions and improving existing ones to operate more efficiently. For example, we've recently introduced several features to tighten the security of our customer's voicemail and also expanded the capacity of our system. You'll bring more such innovations to Three, taking charge of the whole life cycle, from initial discussions with Marketing and collaboration with Technical teams, to the final implementation of the solution. It's a chance to grow this area of our business and shape clear, technical roadmaps.

This is not a role for a beginner. You should have worked in telecoms before and have taken responsibility for a mobile network service platform - not necessarily voicemail - in a design, test or deployment capacity. You'll back up your experience with an engineering, scientific or mathematical degree (or equivalent) and detailed knowledge of TCP/IP plus at least three of the following: SIP; IMAP; SMTP; LDAP; MAP; SMPP; UCP, M3UA; SCTP; HTTP; SOAP; or Diameter. Along with your technical expertise and understanding of communications protocols, you'll have strong communication skills. That means you'll be able to convey your technical vision to a virtual team of specialists. Above all, you'll take pride in your function and in a job well done.
