Mid - Senior PHP Developers - Want to be part of a highly reputable fast growing start-up? Well look no further my client is looking for a Development Superstar with a strong Back End proven track record. If you are experienced in various development languages and can work to tight deadlines and budget constraints then look no further this is the role for you. The have just realised this role, Mid- Senior PHP Developers, and its very very exciting. Exciting in terms of the project and the fact they are one of the hottest mobile/sports start up in London right now. There native mobile apps are highly reviewed and the investment is flowing into the business.
As such they are expanding their PHP team, there small right now; Currently 4 PHP, 1 IOS, 1 Android and a total team of 15, they are looking to double in the next 6 months. The first stage is to get talented PHP developers in to the business, PHP developers with passion and a desire to work in a highly successful start-up.
They have been featured in the Sunday Times list of Best Apps in the World, Techcrunch and Forbes Magazine, they are attempting to change the way sport is consumed in the digital world with a genuinely innovative mobile-first product approach. The role incorporates responsibility for development of backend services supporting the mobile network.
Role requirements:
-Fluency in multiple languages (PHP and Javascript/Node.js a must)
-Excellent understanding of data modelling concerns: Type of data store, indexing, querying etc.
-Experience with architecting, deploying, and maintaining systems in a live, high-traffic environment.
-Self-motivation / Initiative - Candidate is expected to be able to operate without being explicitly directed at all times.
-Readiness to take responsibility for aspects of our backend systems, to own his/her code
-Suitable University level qualifications
Technical requirements:
(Successful candidate will know some or all of the following)
-PHP
-Javascipt/Node.js
-SQL Databases (mysql etc)
-Non-SQL Data stores (MongoDB etc)
-Git/Version control
-Gearman/Async queue processing
-Shell Scripting
-Apache/Nginx
