Our Client is one of the UK’s leading house builders, proud of their reputation for quality build and design, high specification and dedicated customer service. They employ specialists from a broad range of disciplines, which means they have extensive in-house experience and expertise at their disposal to see housing projects of all sizes through from start to finish.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to work with the sales hubs to ensure the agreed sales target is reached at forecast price or better through the effective management of people and activities in line with the Customer Journey.
Main responsibilities: Area Sales Manager
Provide information so that the Regional Sales and Marketing Operations Director are able to produce agreed sales volumes and prices
Liaise with Sales Team Leaders to review offers, part exchange and shared equity schemes and communicate to the Regional Sales and Marketing Operations Director
Plan plot releases in conjunction with the Build Department, Regional Sales Director to ensure the optimum mix and availability of units
Ensure that the presentation of all sales sites, including the sales office, show home and stock units, are all internally and externally of a high standard
Regularly communicate actual sales figures against financial forecast to the Regional Sales and Marketing Operations Director
Provide the Regional Sales and Marketing Operations Director with relevant information for the regional board meeting
Responsible for recruiting, developing and performance managing their Area Sales team
Experience/Skills: Area Sales Manager
Applicants must have at least 3 years previous management experience within a sales environment working for a residential house builder
Candidates must have an excellent proven sales record
Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
Must be able to work under pressure and meet sales targets
Have strong organisational, people management and negotiation skills
Must hold a full driving licence
Relevant Qualifications: Area Sales Manager
Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs / GCEs including Mathematics and English
NVQ level 3 or 4 in Customer Service or Sales would be advantageous
