We are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Assistant to work within a busy manufacturing environment, controlling dispatching and collection of goods.
You will be required to work between the hours of 9.30 - 5.30 / 10.30 - 6.30 Monday - Friday.
Main Duties
Daily processing of Sales Orders on the shipping run.
Picking, packing and shipping of goods.
Arranging collections.
To deal with day to day queries regarding the shipping/collection of goods.
To assist the Warehouse team as and when required.
Ensuring the correct quantity of finished product is shipped on time.
Communicate all required information to various parts of the organisation and ensure that the process runs smoothly
Producing manifests and address labels
Supporting the Dispatch Administrator on a day to day basis
General office duties, administration, answering emails and telephone calls.
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the workplace.
The employee will also demonstrate:
A commitment to comply with the Companys Information Security Policy
A commitment to promptly report any security weaknesses or incidents
A commitment to adopt and maintain a Health and Safety culture within the Group
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Essential
Good interpersonal and organisational skills
Warehouse systems management
Experience of dispatch and shipping
Desirable
SAP Experience
FLT licence
