Database Consultant Systems (Transformation) Manager is required by a leading NHS Trust to manage a large DW Transformation Programme moving an existing Oracle Data Warehouse and replacing with a new SQL Server Data Warehouse.
Transformation Managers wishing to be considered do NOT have to have previous NHS experience however, it is essential that they are able to demonstrate to our client they have successfully managed large scale Data Warehouse Transformation Programmes (our client has a head count of 13,000 Staff) where the primary focus of the programme was to convert to one Data Warehouse to another industrial strength' Data Warehouse. This is NOT a hands on technical role however the DW Transformation Manager must be able to hold basic conversations with the various technical teams. It is anticipated that the current Data Warehouse will remain in place for a further 18 months and comprises; Business Objects on top of Oracle, Excel on top of MS SharePoint and a growing Qlikview estate.
It is planned that the future Data Warehouse set up will include; SQL Server with a Microsoft stack and Qlikview to be delivered through an MS SharePoint portal.
