VB.NET Developer
Multiyork are a market leader in the furniture industry and are looking to expand its multichannel presence. They require a VB.NET developer to get involved in some exciting projects and work simultaneously with web technology and applications.
Based at their head office in Thetford, they require an experienced developer to form a key part of its small yet versatile development team supporting over 50 stores nationally.
The primary responsibilities of the role will encompass full life cycle development in a test driven environment, though an element of support is required providing user documentation and training assistance where needed. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of projects incorporating HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server, this is also a great chance to work with SAP which is run throughout Multiyork. A developer with a strong passion for first class coding would exceed in this post and you will have the benefit of seeing the difference your work makes on the business.
Therefore to be successful in your application you will require good commercial experience with VB.NET and a sound knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server as well as a being a keen analytical thinker and strong problem solver. Programming skills consisting of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and SAP development would be of benefit though are not a necessity, training is provided for those willing to expand their skill set.
