Our client is a reputable surveying business in Leeds which specialises in Utilities and Land surveying. They are recruiting for a Project Manager to support the business to manage Utility and Land surveying projects and ensure client’s scope / requirements are achieved along with the company’s agreed project budget.

Within the role you will support the Operations Manager with the achievement of departmental targets (financial and otherwise), ensuring all projects are completed to deadline, budget and required quality.  Liaising with other Project Managers within the management team with regards to all operational matters, you must comply with company H&S policy and complete effective project administration including method statements, risk assessments, commercial documentation, invoicing and debt recovery (as appropriate).

Promoting the company image and encouraging sales and development opportunities, you will provide relationship management for key corporate accounts and contracts and assess and communicate resource requirements with the Operations Manager.  You will also carry out project estimations and quotations for corporate accounts and continually seek ways for the company to improve its financial performance.

With relevant surveying experience including job estimation and QA and project management experience whilst in a Senior Surveyor role, you will have a good level of financial understanding in a business application and have the proven ability to deliver on goals and targets.  Capable of applying Health & Safety Rules and Regulations in the work place, you will have a flexible approach to your working hours and be willing to work away from home when required.  Excellent communication, literacy, numeracy and IT skills are all essential for the role and you must be able to hit targets and work on your own initiative.  A full driving licence is required.
