Sales Engineer (Security Systems) - Manchester

Our client are a Manchester based company incorporated in 1996. They are holders of NSI Nacoss Gold accreditation. They install and maintain access control, CCTV, intruder alarms and integrated systems that may include intercom/door entry and visitor management systems.

The company are now looking to recruit a Sales Engineer. The role will suit either an on the tools Engineer looking to move into a sales career or a candidate currently undertaking a similar role. The tasks of the role are to generate new business opportunities with the support of in-house telemarketing (the role holder will be given leads from potential customers who contact the client for a quote), nurturing existing customers and new self generated leads. To convert leads into site surveys and quotations. To promote the company and the benefits of working with them. To ensure a sufficient conversion rate to achieve target. There will be complete support from the sales office and training where required.

Please note as a condition of employment the successful candidates will be screened to BS7858:2012 and have a driving licence (clean or minimal points). Working hours Monday to Friday 0900 - 1730. Targets to be agreed. A formal job spec is also available.
