We are currently looking for an experienced Trades Operative to join our Property Services team in Oxfordshire.

The purpose of the role is to carry out all forms of planned maintenance, installation and response repairs to fixtures, fitments and fittings including fault diagnosis and rectification in order to meet work schedules.

You will also undertake general building works and repairs which include; carpentry, plumbing, plastering, decorating, fencing and tiling as may be required to ensure work schedules are completed on time and that service delivery standards are met.

Candidates will have experience within a similar role, ideally from within the Housing sector and must have a minimum of NVQ level 2 in a specific trade, ideally Carpentry or Plumbing along with a full UK Drivers License

There is a desire within Sovereign to help operatives increase their core skills to become a Sovereign Multi Skilled Operative which include being competent in the following areas; carpentry, plumbing plastering, decorating, fencing and tiling as may be required to ensure work schedules are completed on time and that service delivery standards are met.

This role will suit an experienced Carpenter or Plumber with additional building skills that wants to be included on the Multi Skilled Operative programme of training.

The role will involve travel and work across the Oxfordshire region
