Network Engineer, Cisco IOS, Cisco Switching, Cisco Routing. Central London. ??60-70,000 (salary dependent on experience) + c??10k+ bonus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hands-on network engineer to Support a global mission critical network architecture for a leading financial trading services company.

Key Skills:

- Proven experience and ability in a hands-on network support engineering role.
- Detailed knowledge of Cisco IOS.
- Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and utilities.
- MAN/WAN networking experience.
- Experience of network concepts and security eg L2/L3/L4, VSLM, Access-lists etc.
- In depth knowledge of Cisco Switching.
- In depth knowledge of Cisco Routing.
- In depth knowledge of Checkpoint Firewall product
- Knowledge of Microsoft network technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems

Nice to have:

- Any relevant certifications CCNA, CCNP, CCDP or CCIE
- Financial Services industry experience.
- Any from; MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPV6, QOS/traffic engineering, VOIP, WAAS, IP Multicast.

About the role:

This Network Engineer role ( Cisco IOS, Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Checkpoint Firewall, Linux, Microsoft ) will include:

- Day to day monitoring, maintenance and support of a global mission critical network architecture.
- Problem solving network issues to packet level.
- Installation and maintenance of network equipment and circuits at multiple UK POPs in Greater London.
- Setting up and configuring complex switching environments.
- Supporting European customers for connectivity.
