Highways/Senior Highways Engineer/South Wales/Permanent MicroDrainage/3D Civil's/AutoCAD/Bentley MX/Key Lines/Key Signs

GCS Recruitment is currently recruiting for Senior Highways Engineer. This is a permanent post based from my clients South Wales offices.

My client is a leading organisation within the Construction & Infrastructure sectors & following some recent success in securing a number of major Highways projects.

The successful candidate will be joining a team which provides in house design, consultancy & support services to all of my clients Highways projects.

The Senior Highways Engineer role will require you to undertake design & provide technical input for a wide range of Highway projects. You will undertake designs, drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, supporting site visits, technical reports etc.

Software;

The design software's being utilised throughout the projects are; MicroDrainage/ Key Lines/Key Signs/Civil's 3D/AutoCAD/Bentley MX.

Requirements;

Degree in Civil Engineering or foundation degree in Civil Eng - Working towards I Eng or E Eng

Extensive Highways design experience

Commercial awareness in the delivery of projects

Experience of Highway Agencies standards such as DMRB & MCDHW

Experience utilising design software such as - MicroDrainage/Bentley MX/Key Lines/Key Signs

Contract preparation for Highway schemes

Departure & Standards approvals

UK/EEC driving licence
