Salary up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience

Our client is the leading bakery food-on-the-go retailer in the UK.

They are now looking for a dedicated and results-driven Area Manager to drive retail performance across the North London area, in order to maximise profitability, efficiency and excellent customer service in-line with national brand guidelines.

Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will focus on the 5 Key Drivers of Service, Team, Standards, Sales and Profit. You will maximise opportunities to spend time on the shop floor with your Shop Managers, their teams and our customers, promoting brand excellence and improving standards across the area. You will develop and implement shop operational plans, regularly reviewing performance and promoting a culture of achievement and responsibility.

This position is important in recruiting for and developing effective shop management teams in line with shop plan requirements to ensure continued success for an already profitable territory.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing and leading teams in a food retail customer focussed environment, at an area manager level. We are looking for an excellent communicator, who has the ability to make decisions confidently and get results from your teams. A resilient and organised character, you will have experience of implementing challenging sales and marketing plans.
