An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Collections and Recoveries expert to join our client, the biggest independent Home Collected Credit Business in the UK.
Our client’s Recoveries Team is based in their Support Centre in Birstall (Batley), supporting their frontline branch network of Managers and Self-Employed Agents.

The role of Collections / Recoveries Officer:
As a Collections / Recoveries Officer you will be working in a small team with established processes. You will be dealing with varied aspects of the wider collections role in a compliant and ethical manner. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
• Maximise the recoveries on all accounts within your control.
• Delivering a professional service to their customers as part of their customer care programme, offering support and guidance, whilst recovering debt on their delinquent accounts.
• Responsible for ensuring DPA is adhered to and call standards are maintained in line with company requirements.
• Provide line manager with appropriate agreed MI within the deadlines set.
• Assist colleagues as and when directed by Line Manager.
• Maintain agreed processes and SLA’s with 3rd party companies.
• Adhere to company policy and Procedures.
Collections / Recoveries Officer - Experience and Skills Required:
• Previous Collections / Recoveries experience is required.
• Demonstrates integrity and commitment to customers, third parties and employees.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel packages.
• Good rapport building, negotiation and customer mediation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
