Our client is a successful and oversubscribed 11- 18 mixed upper school, with 1031 students on roll; in 2012 they were described by Ofsted as a ‘Good School’ with ‘Outstanding’ features. Our clients aim is to inspire all our students to adopt an attitude of lifelong learning and encourage both students and staff to have the highest expectation of themselves and others.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Cover Teacher with the energy to inspire, motivate and challenge students; you will also be expected to contribute to the development of this successful cover department. Our client recognises that a strong and creative curriculum extends beyond the classroom and all students benefit from a wide choice of enrichment activities and trips both locally and abroad. Many students are high performing and it is important that we recognize their abilities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Teacher who;
• Has a passionate belief in the ability of all students to achieve
• Has the desire to see continuous school improvement
• Has the potential to teach at key stages 3 and 4 (5 would be an advantage)
• Has commitment to team work and a sense of fun
This is an exciting opportunity for a cover teacher to strive, share and promote best practice and drive academic outcomes. If you are resolute and keen to contribute towards developing the department further, we want to hear from you!
