Job Title: Brand Consultant

Location: Debenhams, Oxford

Salary: Competitive

Contract: Part Time, 12 months Fixed-Term (Ref: SAL021) (Available to work from Monday to Sunday)

Main Purpose:

To have ownership of all operational aspects of the Brand within a defined account.  To work closely with the National Account Manager, to deliver optimum sales, levels of customer service, and maintain the premium positioning of the Brand in-store at all times.

Main Duties:

  • To greet all customers that come into the department, assist them with their product selection, accompany customers to the service desk (tills) when required and convert opportunities to achieve sales out targets.
  • Merchandising the company products defined by the National Account Manager.
  • Actively promote and present all products using company sales techniques.
  • Actively demonstrate the features and benefits of the products to consumers when required.
  • Deal with queries and complaints received either by phone or in store, in line with Le Creuset and Store policies and procedures, ensure positive resolution and consumer satisfaction. 
  • Place and follow up orders and special orders.
  • Liaise with the National Account Manager with regards current, future and potential Le Creuset product promotional activities, and sales out figures.
  • Liaise with the Le Creuset National Account Manager regarding sales information, competitive products, current buying trends/colours.
  • Assist the National Account Manager in the presentation of new or promotional lines to store personnel as required.  Create solutions for the display and merchandising of new ranges / promotions in readiness for launch
  • Assist with carrying out stock takes as directed ensuring that these are completed accurately and according to Company guidelines.
  • Ensure high levels of product knowledge by reading up on products, attending courses and visits as directed, and pass this knowledge on to other members of the in store team.

Experience Sales experience in a retail environment dealing directly with consumers/customers

Education / Qualifications: Numerical and Literacy qualifications required

Skills and Knowledge: Effective oral communication skills - Customer / Consumer Service skills
