Over the past 25 years North West Community Services Ltd has grown to be a major provider of support services in the region and currently have over 800 employees. We provide support services in a variety of settings to people with disabilities including individual supported living, mental health service and employment, respite/short term breaks, registered care homes as well as sheltered facilities.

As the Service Co-ordinator, you would be responsible working in one of the above services. You will be involved in the daily use of our computerised client management system, preparation and management of staff rota’s, conducting service reviews, updating people’s support plans and the supervision and management of teams of support staff, ensuring that service users are provided with individual, person-centred support designed to meet their needs. You may also be involved in the recruitment and training of support workers.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate managerial ability, with underpinning knowledge of the Health & Social Care Act. 

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• You will have experience of managing support services and skills in the preparation and delivery of care packages.

• You will have experience of leading and supervising staff teams with the ability to manage individual performance

• You must be able to demonstrate the ability to formulate and manage support staff rotas and take part in our rotational 24hour emergency on call service

• You must have experience of working to key performance targets, overseeing the delivery of personalised support, and of monitoring, measuring and evaluating the quality of the care / support and achievement of outcomes and weekly/monthly KPIs.

• You must be skilled in all aspects of Microsoft Office.
