Recruitment Administrator - Haywards Heath

3 month contract, Salary starting from £16,800

1st Central Insurance currently have an exciting opportunity for an individual who would like to learn a bit more about our Recruitment process as we are looking for a Recruitment Administrator on a 3 month secondment.

You need to be very organised with the ability to work under pressure and has a confidential and professional approach and can demonstrate integrity and respect. You will be required to co-ordinate and administer the recruitment process throughout the organisation and provide comprehensive support to the Recruitment Team.

Recruitment Administrator Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent administration support for the Recruitment Team

  • Be the first point of contact for recruitment related queries

  • Carry out all Recruitment Administration including receiving and recording applicant details, passing them onto the relevant line manager and arranging interviews and selection days

  • Communicate start dates to all relevant parties and start the employee pre-screening process

  • Produce offer letters and written statement of particulars for successful candidates ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

  • Pass details of all new starters to the Payroll/HR Systems Administrator and the HR Co-ordinator

  • Ensure rejected applicants are responded to in a timely manner

  • Maintain Equal Opportunities Monitoring Information and ensure it is kept up to date

  • Ensure Recruitment Survey results are kept up to date

  • Manage the recruitment inbox ensuring that all emails are responded to in a timely manner

  • Assist with the recruitment process when necessary liaising with the Recruitment Lead

  • Support the HR Co-ordinator in the appointment and co-ordination of all temporary workers

  • To ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/ regulations at all times (including TCF)

  • Flexibility and ability to work within a team and on own initiative and the ability to liaise with internal and external contacts in an effective manner

  • Any other reasonable duties as required

Essential to the Recruitment Administrator role

  • Administration experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills

  • Computer literate, able to use Excel and Word proficiently and with the ability to use the HR database, Outlook, Powerpoint and Visio with training provided if necessary

  • A confidential and professional approach is essential and can demonstrate integrity and respect
