Regional Trainer

Direct Health - Stockton

Direct Health are recruiting a Permanent Full-Time Regional Trainer. Direct Health have over 15 years' experience in the provision of home care and domestic support and our Care and Support Workers are able to provide an exceptional, wide range of services designed to meet all your care and support needs.

The successful Regional Trainer will organise and deliver appropriate and relevant training to Care & Support Workers across multiple branches in the North East, with the main branch base of Stockton. The suitable Regional Trainer will ensure that the branch is able to meet organisational, CQC and National Minimum Care Standard requirements.
To deliver quality and professional training for all staff, working within flexible hours to meet the needs of the branch. the suitable candidate will have a full driving license and a vehicle.

The position of Regional Trainer includes:

  • To plan and carry out internal training to learners according to the company lesson plans.
  • Assess and access training needs for staff in consultation with Branch Manager, including assessment methods and an overall training plan for the branch.
  • Contribute to branch strategy and plans to meet training and development needs, and manage training delivery, measurement and follow up as necessary.
  • To monitor learners at all times for knowledge retention, course compliance and health and safety.
  • To give positive and constructive verbal and written feedback to learners.
  • Ensure all training activities and materials are used in accordance with the organisation and statutory policies, including health and safety and employment and equality laws
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Monitor and report on training performance as required
  • Other duties as may reasonably be required.

The suitable candidate must be occupationally competent in Health & Social Care and desirably possess a PTTLS Certificate/Award and hold a Full Driving License and access to own vehicle as travel is involved in the position.
