Domiciliary Care Manager - Home Care

We are looking to recruit an experienced, professional Domiciliary Care Manager for the Winchester and Eastleigh area or a deputy manager who can take the reins and develop this new and very exciting domiciliary care business. You will need to have excellent business development experience and skills where you have managed Local Authority contracts, built and developed the private sector and delivered a high quality service.

You will need excellent recruitment and staff retention skills and ensure that your staff are well supported and cared for. You will ideally have excellent local knowledge, have good relationships with care managers and GP services within the area and have excellent sales and marketing skills.

Our client is a quality care provider who is expanding its network of exciting, quality focused branches throughout the country. You will need to be qualified to RMA or NVQ 4 standard or equivalent and have an excellent understanding of the CQC regs and care standards. A Domiciliary Care background is essential for this position. However, if you are qualified to an NVQ 3 level within the Domiciliary care sector and have the necessary skills and experience to develop business and have good general business acumen, recruitment and a sales and marketing background then this may be a perfect opportunity for you to move your career forward.

Our client will be looking for a dedicated, committed caring manager who is approachable, professional, confident and who can use their initiative to make good business decisions. You will need to be assertive, have excellent organisational skills and be able to multi task as you will also need to be available for covering some on call duties, carry out some community visits, meet and greet new clients, build good relationships with staff, care managers, families, GP services, colleagues and clients.
