This global leading semiconductor manufacturer are seeking a Senior Programme Manager to lead large multi-disciplinary engineering teams through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, and subsequently oversee delivery of new products from concept and definition phases, through development of hardware and software solutions, to final production ramp up of the system solution.
Candidates for this role would benefit from extensive experience and understanding of the semiconductor / electronics industry and the key competitive differentiators for our products including manufacturability, price, power, die size, and system performance.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Successful track record in bringing new products to market on time by containing the development cost in budget
- Successful track record of bringing new products through their initial product ramp and into high volume manufacturing at planned gross margin and yields
- Experiences of interfacing with process/design automation/debug/testing teams and customers
- Strong foundational knowledge and program management approach to drive NPI execution within established timelines and target costs
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization
- Ability to communicate effectively, concisely to various teams within and across the divisions to effectively drive issue resolution and alignment across functions
- Ability to quickly recognize and articulate barriers and critical path to success across teams
- Proficient in MS Project or Primavera, including experience of resource management processes and tools
- BEng or equivalent degree
- PMP or Prince2 certified
The Successful Candidate Will be:
- Able to work collegially, but effectively through others and build strong professional relationships across the corporation
- Capable of motivating and influencing others, sustaining high energy and a positive attitude even in the face of stiff challenges and adversity
- Capable of development and management of a highly effective set of metrics/reports for communication with senior management
- Effective in conflict resolution among cross geographical/functional teams
- Highly effective in communicating with levels of senior management; both verbal and written presentations
- Manage escalations through proper channel without breaking the harmony of the team
- Ability to challenge decisions and approach issues with creative solutions
