Learning & Development Consultant

Lincoln

Salary up to £33,000 depending on experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ideally a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) or working toward.
  • Demonstrable competence and relevant training qualification at a level equivalent to NVQ 4.
  • European Test User Certificate - Occupational Ability/Personality (Desirable).
  • Business Coaching Qualifications (Desirable).
  • Other relevant qualifications/experience e.g. action learning, NLP Practitioner, Project Management (Desirable).

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of two years relevant experience in training within a professional or business environment. 
  • Knowledge of management development and general skills training services within public or private sector.
  • Substantive experience in the design and delivery of professional skills training events.

THE ROLE

The primary purpose of the Learning and Development Consultant role is to support the delivery of our personal development and leadership and management training service to existing and new customers.  Other responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and training function to maximise its potential to deliver high quality services.
  • Developing and delivering appropriate development and training solutions.
  • Working closely with the wider Learning and Development team to design and facilitate major development interventions.
  • Conducting detailed training needs analyses, producing development proposals, and post-training evaluation reports.
  • Ensuring service delivery meets customer requirements and adds value and quality to the activity undertaken.

You must be commercial and flexible in your approach and possess personal drive and commitment to the delivery of results. Ability to influence others whilst demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude is essential.
