Position: Scannning Bureau Programmer/IT Support
Location: Uxbridge, Middlesex
Salary: £24,000 – £35,000 D.O.E
Our Client is a prominent supplier of data management systems, primarily to local government. A vacancy exists at their busy Uxbridge bureau for a Programmer with IT support abilities.
The Role
The role involves some VB and VBA programming and some support of the IT infrastructure, although knowledge of other programming environments would be an advantage.
The team at the bureau is highly focused on document scanning, so knowledge of this type of working environment would be a definite advantage.
The programming side requires a good knowledge of SQL and Access databases and a familiarity with XML. Knowledge of Kofax or similar would also be an advantage.
The Person
Ideally you will be a good communicator and have a good problem solving instinct, and be able to manage your time effectively. The role would suit a computer science graduate looking for a solid and wide ranging first job.
The salary on offer is negotiable and very dependent on suitability and experience. Circa £24-£35k
