I am currently recruiting for a leading and fast-paced Retailer based in the Stoke-on-Trent area of the country. Due to continued growth they are looking to bring on a Business Change Manager (People Lead) to join their successful team.

As part of the New World Programme team, the People stream works with the business areas to understand the impact the new business processes have on each departmental area. By delivering a range of business change activities to identify training needs, capability requirements, roles and responsibilities and in addition to this plan for any changes which may need to made to the organisational structure.

On a daily basis the Business Change Manager will focus on the people side of change to increase the effective adoption of Business processes, Systems, Technology, Job roles and the Organisational structure.  The Business Change Manager will create and implement change management techniques and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage whilst minimising resistance, facilitate a change plan, Improve ability to utilise the new changes which impact on people, and Increase benefit realisation and ROI.

 Key responsibilities of the Business Change Manager (People Lead):

- Apply structured methodology and lead the change management activities

- Assess the change impact and complete change management assessment

- Create change management strategy

- Accountable for change management work streams across projects

- Consult and coach project teams

- Identify and manage anticipated resistance

- Support and coach communication

- Supports training

- Support and engage with senior stakeholders

- Coach managers to help and guide and support change through their direct reports

- Evaluate and report user readiness

- Manage stake holders

- Track and report issues

- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

- Manage and advise on the change load

- Use creativity and look for flexible ways to change

Skills, Knowledge and Aptitude of the Business Change Manager (People Lead):

- Experience and strong knowledge of change management principles and methodologies

- Thorough knowledge of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle

- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organisation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others
