Reward and Recognition Consultant/Human Resources

I am recruiting for a Reward and Recognitions Consultant for a Blue Chip company based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire on a permanent basis.

As the Reward and Recognitions consultant you will be responsible for driving forward the Reward and Recognition strategy within the business as well as providing analytical and functional support to the HR function, Key Stakeholders and the wider business.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Take professional responsibility for reward, recognition and benefits issues across the UK.
  • Develop a strategic approach to recognition and reward which makes connections to the broader HR Service.
  • Identifying, interpreting and implementing key external benchmarks, leading trends and best practice that can be applied to the HR Strategy.
  • Ensuring Reward and Recognition strategy, policies and processes are designed to deliver and meet the business needs.
  • Understand current and future business needs to ensure all actions support the business strategy.
  • Working closely with Stakeholders in the UK, France and Germany to understand the emerging needs of the business units and ensure interventions are successfully Embedded locally.
  • Review and evaluate on-going reward and recognition programmes and recommend any changes in line with business plans.

Experience required for the role:

  • Experience of working in a large corporate organisation.
  • Understand and interpret cultural and working differenced across European countries.
  • Proven track record of managing and driving reward and recognition strategies.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise projects in a fast-paced, deadline orientated and rapidly changing business environment.
  • Comfortable in suggesting changes to the wider business on the reward and recognition function.
  • Experience of managing and running a job evaluation and grading project.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Commercially astute.
