Global FTSE 100 organisation in Surrey are seeking a PMO Project Co-ordinator/Specialist to support the effective running of the PMO of the integrated supply chain project, one of four key projects which comprise the Integrated change process.

This is a new role, within a newly established function within the company. This role can work as a 12 month Fixed term contract on a pro rata'd salary of up to ??70K base, plus benefits and 10-20% bonus. Likelihood that this will extend further past the initial 12 months, alternatively this role could be available permanently also on a basic of up to ??70K plus bonus and benefits, depending on experience.
This role requires someone with extensive Supply Chain knowledge as its working on change projects across supply chain, distribution and planning. We are not looking for IT centric individuals. We require someone with broader Project experience, as there are lots of change initiatives taking place.

RESPONSIBILITIES -

* Provide planning, document management and governance/control services to the Director of planning and the Director of Distribution.
* Provide planning and activity expediting/management services to the Group Technical Innovation team amounting to 1- people management almost 40 projects.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, using Microsoft Project, Distribution, Manufacturing and innovation work stream activities and individual projects with plans providing detailed views for team management, rolling up to give higher level views of integrated views for ExCom level reporting.
*Manage the various data bases, collaboration infrastructure and documentation that is generated or used to fulfil supply chain activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS -

*Previous experience of working as a PMO on large projects where you have been involving in establishing or leading the PMO.
* Global experience across a number of functions including Business services, Supply chain, distribution, planning etc.
* Experience of working from within a Consultancy (Big 4 ideally) or from within a fast paced organisation, continually changing.
*Solid understanding of how big inter-functional projects work and the type of interactions that they involve.
*Highly skilled in the use of MS Project, as well as Excel and PowerPoint.
*Understanding of the principles of documentation management.
*Degree level educated or equivalent.
*Personable, engaging, confident, with excellent skilled in facilitating with people of varying levels and able to drive the delivery of appropriate plans and validate progress against the plans.
